The Watervale Hotel offers an all day fine dining experience from 11am to 9pm every day in a beautifully renovated old hotel that has retained the casual accessibility associated with a country pub.

Every day is a holiday for tourists, and when you are on a cycling or wine tasting holiday you want to eat when it suits you! We want to offer service and community to our regulars and tourists alike – even on Good Friday or Christmas Day”.
It is our organic, bio-dynamic Penobscot Farm that drives the seasonal menu and fresh tasty food offering at the Watervale Hotel.
Penobscot Farm and No 6 Quelltaler Road are being developed as a bio-dynamic, organic farm using permaculture principles by our Gardener Jared Murray. We see our ventures as a seat of organic learning as well as agriculture, with a constant flow of Chefs and Front of House staff from around the world working with our local Clare talent.
Our vision is to create an epicurean business that can act as a hub for our local community, a destination for visitors to our region, and a role model for ethical practices.
